KANSAS CITY, MO – Kansas City PBS is excited to announce Daniel Tiger Be My Neighbor Day, a special summer event for the whole family. Join us in thePower and Light District on Saturday, June 22, at 10 a.m. to meet PBS KIDS characters like Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kittycat fromDaniel Tiger’s Neighborhood and Donkey Hodie.
Families can enjoy educational activities designed to engage young children, as well as face painting, balloon art and other carnival activities. Plus, everyone can take home free books and other goodies from Kansas City PBS and our community partners while supplies last. We encourage attendees to bring donations of new deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes forGiving The Basics, a local non-profit organization dedicated to providing essential hygiene products to those in need.
The celebration is free, but an RSVP is required at kansascitypbs.org/events.
