Personal Care Dental Group, LLC, has operated for over 40 years in Raytown, Missouri. Our practice was founded by Dr. Jerald Hamblin and has become a staple of the community, serving generations of families since its beginning. Dr. Hamblin has since retired, and our practice is owned and operated by Dr. Rubelita James, Dr. Paula Rodriguez and Dr. Rachel Kim. Dr. James joined the practice in 1990. She is originally from the Philippines, but relocated to the United States and grew up in the St. Louis area before graduating from UMKC School of Dentistry in 1989. Dr. Rodriguez was born in Peru and moved to Liberty, MO as a child. She graduated from UMKC School of Dentistry in 2018 and joined our practice in 2021. She is fluent in English and Spanish. Dr. Kim is from New York City and moved to the Midwest a few years ago. She graduated from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2019 and joined our practice in 2024. She is fluent in English and Korean.
Being centrally located and close to the stadiums, we are able to reach and care for patients across the Kansas City area. We pride ourselves on treating each patient with care, compassion, empathy, and providing them with comprehensive, personal care and education to achieve optimal oral health. We believe in creating long-term connections with our patients and creating an environment that is comfortable. Our staff is friendly and knowledgeable- many of them have been with our practice for over 10 years! Our general practice offers a wide range of services including fillings, crown and bridge, partial and full dentures, oral surgery, implants, cosmetics, and orthodontics.
