Founded in 1998 by Ritu Daga, Nartan Academy of Dance has spent 28 years nurturing more than 300 students in the Greater Kansas City region, teaching them the Indian classical dance forms of Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi. Our students have been actively involved in the cultural scene in Kansas City, performing at universities, ethnic festivals, and community gatherings, carrying India’s heritage of art forms to audiences in Kansas City and across the country.
