Among our distinguished team is DongJoo “DJ” Kim, an experienced attorney licensed in both Kansas and Missouri, who brings a unique blend of professional excellence and cultural insight to serving as trusted legal counsel for Asian and Asian-American business owners. As a Korean immigrant and former diplomat for South Korea, DJ understands the challenges and aspirations of diverse business owners pursuing the American Dream. His legal expertise in corporate structuring and operations, contracts, succession planning, and tax law is matched by a deep personal commitment to serving the Asian-American community in Kansas City. DJ’s bilingual capabilities in Korean and English enable him to uniquely relate to and communicate with Asian business owners, and provide a wide range of business law services with excellence. DJ is the appointed legal counsel for the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Chicago, and an active leader in Kansas City’s Korean American community.
