Who We Are:
The Asian American Chamber of Commerce
of Kansas City was formed in 1998 as a non-profit
organization whose mission is to support and promote
business and cultural relationships among members of the
Chamber, local and national corporations, and the general
public. According to the 2002 Economic Census, the Greater
Kansas City area has 2,856 Asian American businesses with
annual sales of nearly 1 billion dollars and annual payroll
of over $152 million dollars. Asian Americans and their
business community have made significant contributions to
the local community in recent years.
By joining the AACC, you support our efforts to foster
relationships among diverse groups in the greater Kansas
City metropolitan area, which is home to 40,000 Asian
Americans and 3,000 Asian-owned businesses with total sales
