Message from the President:

Greetings!
It is my great honor and pleasure to be serving this year as President of Asian American Chamber of commerce of Kansas City (AACC).

AACC represents a wide array of successful and promising entrepreneurs, businesses, and individuals comprising of diverse background and ethnicity. AACC has always worked hard to advance the economic well being of the Kansas City area so that its citizens and all of the business community shall prosper. My vision is to enhance the primary goal of AACC of creating an effective platform for all businesses to come together, interact, network, and promote business. We are all greatly aware of the difficult and challenging economic environment afflicting the business and social communities both nationally and locally. It is going to take a tremendous amount of commitment, teamwork and planning to be successful. Together we can face these unprecedented economic circumstances.

Our chamber has a 16 highly qualified member Board of Directors and various
committees that provide the energy and talent needed to carry out our ambitious Chamber programs. Sook Park, our enthusiastic Executive Director is always available for all your assistance and needs. We have Monthly Networking/Referral Programs and Business- Builder events that cover issues of importance to the business community. Our 2009 Gala event was a big success followed by the monthly events at “Mdivani Law Firm” and “meet the KC Employers”. I hope to see all of you at our upcoming events including the “Golf Tournament” (Sep-2009) and “Holiday Party” (Dec-2009).

Our Membership levels are geared to affordability, value, and tangible benefits. Our membership and sponsorship is steadily growing and we are committed to enhance the business opportunities for our members and supporters. Whether you are an individual or a business, I invite you to get involved in the many events and programs organized by the Chamber. There is no better time to be a member of the AACC.
